Michael stretched out on the couch, the remote resting on his chest. It was a Saturday, the perfect day to do absolutely nothing. He’d just finished packing Leo's backpack, checking and rechecking the contents. The school supply list had been a breeze. Then, a quick glance at the welcome letter from the school, and everything shifted. He spotted the teacher's name: Mr. Henderson. A quiet chuckle escaped him. He distinctly recalled Mr. Henderson's booming laugh and his penchant for terrible puns. A sense of uncomplicated contentment settled within him, and he sank further into the cushions, a silly grin plastered on his face.
